The day will feature a full programme of entertainment together with garden games for the young and not-so-young plus a variety of stalls, tombola, etc. and a balloon race. You can arrive at 12.00 for a sizzling Holtwood barbecue, enjoy yourself all afternoon and finish off with a strawberry cream tea - and also have a go at guessing the age of the donkey! The fete will be officially opened at 12.30 by Ruth Oliver who is a BBC Radio 4 producer & presenter, the "Faith Matters" columnist for the Bournemouth Daily Echo and a former presenter with Hope FM. The Dotty Crochets Ceilidh Band with caller Sandra Singleton will also be leading some dancing during the afternoon. So there should be something there for everyone! The Hot Potato Club is now on its summer break and will next meet on Friday 2nd October when the guests will be Brian & Pat Dryden showing a DVD and talking about Rotary Club Charity Boxes.
